WidSets... widsets

Here's a few new widsets for you, if you are interested in what's going on when it comes to WidSets.

First there's the WidSets blog (of course), so that you know what's going on in general. An old widset existed for that, but now we have a brand new one for you.

Then we have a totally new one called Tips and Tricks . For those of you who have been active in the Forum, this section is familiar, but now the content is new. We've gathered all kinds of ideas and suggestions from people about features they have found out by accident, or think that should be highlighted.

And lastly, there's the Press & Buzz widset, where we gather what people say about us in the press, in the blogosphere, and, well, anywhere.

And as with most widsets, you can choose if you want to see the pictures in your mobile, too. Just go into Options/Settings/Show Images (Yes/No).

Fun & Games

One of the popular categories in our Library is the "Fun & Games" category. As in all categories, there's more widsets appearing all the time, but a I thought I'd mention a few here.

Sudoku must be one of the most popular ones. The current WidSets version provides the "Easy - Medium - Hard - Evil" levels, so there should be one for everybody. When it comes to Sudoku I'm a very easy guy.

The Puzzle is quite a simple game, where you should put the numbers in order, but it works very nicely on a wide variety of phones. And this is so simple that even I can play it.

The Memory Game, or "Fruitsets" is all about finding fruit pairs as quickly as possible. It has a nice additional feature in it, too. When you have played your game, you'll see the high scores of all other WidSets users. And when it comes to me, well, you will not see my name among the high scores...

Tapestry Comics is for all of you who like to read comics. The site has a great variety of comics, so you can select a feed, add it to your widset, and read the comics you like. I love to read my Dilbert here.

The last one I'll mention here is World Of WarCraft, where everybody who loves that game can check the latest news around the it. A classic.

Widsets for other services...

We've done some work on tailoring widgets to interesting other services as our first step to add value to those WidSets users who are using these other services... (sorry - you need to be logged in to the our service before the widget links point to the actual target widget... non logged users will go to main widget library page where you can search for that particular widget)

In all these we have tried to optimize the shown content in the widget according to the service's content and the looks-and-likes.
Also, some of our users have already done some trials on eg news readers where you can make the selection of the exact feed directly from widget's option ... Thanks & keep these comign to the widgets library.

ps. just one more thing I'd like to highlight here is the concept of bookmarking in our case. When you use WidSets in your mobile please just try bookmarking interesting items on your mobile WidSets. We'll collected them under "Bookmarks" in our site. Next time you are sitting in front of your PC, and visit our site you'll be able check all those stories you bookmarked to be interesting from the native sites - just click the bookmark in our site and we open the story into another window.
