WidSets introduced in China

People have asked us if and when we will at some point create a localized version of WidSets. Our standard (and true) answer has been that currently we only have time for developing one web service and one client.

Well, now we have a version of WidSets available, dedicated for our Chinese consumers. Until now we have had lots and lots of Chinese consumers on our main site, but maybe not that much interesting content available for them. With the new site, the WidSets team in China will make sure that we will have localized content available (which is, kind of, the idea :-)

As you might have noticed, the WidSets service was very slow yesterday. We were expecting something like this to happen due to the huge usage growth we have experienced lately, and had a performance fix waiting to be installed. Instead of implementing the fix a little later, we implemented it last night, so things should be back to normal now. Sorry about that!
